A Character Profile for Anastasia Camberline on Final Fantasy XIV - located on Balmung World Server, Crystal Data Center.DISCLAIMER: Anastasia is portrayed as a Warrior of Light OC, the same Warrior of Light that follows the Main Scenario Quest, and while The Player (hi, thats me!) strives to be unobtrusive and tactful with this role, I will by NO MEANS make changes or tweaks to her as a character or her backstory to satisfy the demands and desires of people who seek out Roleplay from me.What you see is what you get, so give it a try, we might just have fun!

Roleplaying Assumptions
My intentions for Roleplaying as Anastasia are simple. The player is happy to RP with people of all levels of skill, writing competency, and even lore-abidance (or not-abidance, I really don't care, I'll RP with anyone.) Obviously, RPing as a Warrior of Light OC raises concerns regarding acceptance into people's personal canons, and as a Player, I understand this.For that reason, all potential RP prospects are welcome to behave as if they do not / cannot recognize her as the Warrior of Light. Regardless, she'll never bring it up with a character whose player has not given me, the player, consent to do so. She will also never bring it up (blatantly, at least) in Public Scenes. She's too humble. If you or another character does choose to acknowledge the fact in public, power to you...She will try to keep herself humble, and so will the player, as to not cause a stir.That being said, it doesn't make the fact any less Canon in my Roleplay, or the Roleplay of people who DO buy into Anastasia being The Warrior of Light... At any time, regardless of your preferences.Everybody's free to Roleplay how they want, with whom they want, as whatever characters they want. I firmly believe this, and I'll always stand by that. I never want to see any drama, toxicity, or bashing be directed my way or towards the people I roleplay with as a result of this choice in character, or the choice of other players to roleplay with her, whether they acknowledge her as the Warrior of Light or not. If you do that, I'm going to block you. Simple as.
Roleplaying Style
As mentioned above, the Player of this OC is easily amused, pathetically so. I will roleplay with anyone, from exchanging one-liners to going at it with Multi-Para. I literally do not care and I find amusement in things from little gag scenes of spontaneous roleplay, to big and serious character arcs. The guide below is a bit more comprehensive for those of us who like lists.In-Character Frequency: Always In Character.
Character Injury: No Limit, Never Permanent.
**Character Death: NO ** but maybe. but see "Plot Armor" section in 'The Echo' tab. Obviously no Perma.
Character Romance / ERP: Yes, but only if you're cool, or if I'm posted up at the Balmung Quicksand Wall.
Approach / Walkup / Tells: All are welcome. I'll let you know if I can't RP in a given moment. Usually, I'll dignify posts with SOME response.RP Battle Resolution: I like rolls as well as Emote Battles. Yes, you are allowed to beat the Warrior of Light in a fight, especially if the Rolls go your way. Breaks your immersion? I don't care, it's the shaggy meme of using 0.0001% of your power.Post Length: Super-Flexible, but my philosophy is that every situation has a necessary amount of detail. Less is underwhelming, more is overbearing. Find the 'just right' spot in every scene. Prose-Posters can go to heck.
Roleplaying Interests
My vision for Anastasia is that in Roleplay, she is typically assuming the role of 'the helpful hero' - always willing to lend a hand, always willing to be there to help another tell THEIR story. We know hers, but what struggles are your characters going through? What would the stage and setting of your character's Anime look like? As Hydaelyn commanded, Anastasia is to shine her Light on all creation. What does her Light look like in your character's life?For specific plot threads, you can always refer to the 'Plot Hooks' tab and see what interests you.
